Having issues too. A couple weeks ago they attempted unnanounced to migrate my website to their new platform. Didnt work. I had them revert to the old platform. Then yesterday all of a sudden they tried to migrate again. Of course once again I had no idea this was going to happen; they just do it. This time the new location worked, but they never bothered to refresh my database or emails!! So I have a blind spot on all my orders and emails two weeks old. Its been close to 20 hrs and they have yet to rectify the problem. They did tell me they do the migrations "piecemeal" WTF!! So lets put my apps on the new server and refresh the data when you get around to it!!??!!! Never seen such incompetence before in IT...Once my busty season is over Im thru with these clowns

I completely Agree! They've ruined my site during transition and can't figure out how to fix whatever they did. The "old" WebHost4Life was great...this "new" version of the company is downright awful! They've lost all my respect and my business.

Man these guys… what clowns. I’ve been with them since early 2006. It was never great but it was ok and it was cheap (for IIS hosting).

But now, after this so-called migration, it’s all gone to hell.

Two websites both down for TEN DAYS! TEN FREAKIN DAYS!!! And STILL not fixed.

I used to recommend these bozos to others that wanted low cost IIS hosting. Every single one of them has been down anywhere from one to many days after this migration.

And the best part; they timed the migration on all of those accounts for just after the plans came up for renewal.

This is THE WORST experience I’ve had with a hosting company, ever.

Please, pretty pretty please:
– take your business elsewhere
– tell everybody to post everywhere about these idiots so they don’t fall prey

I sincerely hope they go bust. It would be a service to humanity.

A very interesting and informative blog. I only just discovered Hockey in January when I found a local reccie team playing pond hockey on a frozen Scottish Loch. I've since shot 3 training sessions and one match and have found out much of what you have said by trial and error. Last night s training session was about the best yet as the rink accidentally put on more lights.

Noise is an issue, even with a D300s and a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. I'll have a go with the noise reducton software you mentioned.

Good luck to your lad :)

Tersa: this was posted in 2008 and would have been 39 years.

Others:

“There’s wind on the moon” - ummm..no they put wire through the flag so that it would display correctly. otherwise it would just be pointless to have it hanging from a stick. simple mechanics.

good thing you people don’t work for nasa

1) Moon has no atmosphere and no winds, consequently the banner cannot fly.

2) Moon has some gravity, so the banner should hang in the absence of wind.

Is this picture fake?

Actually, it was 40 years ago today, not 39. July 20, 1969. I know this because I was born on July 21, 1969, while they were actually walking around on the moon...and tomorrow is my 40th birthday.
